PRODUCT SWAN-EZECOAT (1K) is a single pack moisture cured polyurethane waterproofing coating which forms a strong, durable, elastic, abrasion resistant, heat insulating, water, oil and chemical resistant waterproof coating for terraces, roofs, cooling towers, podiums, bathrooms, toilets, gypsum & cement boards, concrete screeds, etc. It forms a thick, seamless and long-lasting film that eliminates water seepage from all kinds of surfaces. If required, reinforcing fiber mesh can be sandwiched between layers.

USES Building roofs / Terraces– Flat & sloping. Domes and designer walls. Over existing cementitious waterproofing treatments like brickbat coba, concrete screeds, acrylic coatings, etc

APPLICATIONS The surface on which the coating is to be applied should be freed from all traces of dirt, grease and impurities. Damaged or hollow portions of the substrate should be suitably repaired before application. For best results, the surface should have less than 10% moisture before application.

Penetrating Primer Coat: Though SWAN-EZECOAT (1K) has excellent bonding with many substrates, a primer is recommended for porous surfaces. SWAN-EZECOAT (1K) is diluted using 20% of diluents such as DL101 and applied over the clean surface by brush, roller or spray. This ensures that the coating penetrates deeply into the substrate, seals it and adheres well.

Barrier Coat: SWAN-EZECOAT (1K) is then applied by brush or roller depending upon the thickness required. A consumption of 0.7 kg/sq.m will generally achieve a wet film thickness of around 500 microns. If higher thickness is required, apply an additional coat over this coat after it is tack free (8-12 hours depending on ambient temperature and humidity). 

Top Coat (Optional): If high colour stability is required, a top coat of aliphatic polyurethane may be applied. Apply one coat of SWAN-EZECOAT (2K) Topcoat by brush or roller at a consumption of 0.13 kg/sq.m per coat. Though light walking over the coating is permissible after 24 hours, it is advisable to wait for 3-4days before full traffic is allowed to move over it.

Packing SWAN-EZECOAT (1K) is available in 5,12 and 25 kg metal containers. Diluent DL 101 in 10 litre drums.

SHELF LIFE:- Shelf Life of SWAN-EZECOAT (1K) is 6 months. It should be stored in original sealed pack under shade in dry condition.

PRECAUTIONS & LIMITATIONS SWAN-EZECOAT (1K) should be stored in a cool and dry area. It can be stored for 6 months in its original unopened container. Use the contents immediately after opening the container otherwise the material will thicken and solidify. While handling, all contact with eyes, skin and clothes should be avoided. Implements used for application should be cleaned with NC thinner, xylene or toluene.
